Crosswood Forest Partnership was the 30th forest established by Roger Dickie. In 2021 Crosswood had an estimated net stocked area of 198 hectares.
The Crosswood Forest Partnership was formed in March 1994. Planting took place in the winter of 1994 and the forest is forecast to be harvested in 2022.
The Crosswood property is 6km on State Highway 2 North of Wairoa, 5km down Waiatai Road and 98km from Gisborne.
Cricklewood Forest Partnership was the 13th forest established by Roger Dickie. In 2021 Cricklewood had an estimated net stocked area of 313 hectares.
The forest was founded in May of 1993 and planted later the same year and is forecast to be harvested in 2021.
Cricklewood Forest is situated in Northern Hawkes Bay, 22 km from Raupunga on Putere Road. The land is part of a farm bought by Roger Dickie. Cricklewood Forest is one of the six forest partnerships on this land.
Chatswood Forest Partnership was the 72nd forest established by Roger Dickie (NZ) Ltd and is situated 35 km West of Gisborne on the Wharekopae Road. Chatswood Forest adjoins Heywood, Eastwood and Woodside forests.
In 2021 Chatswood had an estimated net stocked area of 317 hectares. Having been planted in 2000, the main harvest is due to commence in 2028 with a smaller stand of older trees to be harvested when road-lining is undertaken in 2026. Harvest will likely take approximately 3 years. The harvested areas will be replanted each Winter.
Castle Rock Forest Partnership was the 28th forest established by Roger Dickie (NZ) Ltd and is situated 1 km off State Highway 2 on Cricklewood Road, south of Wairoa and 110 km from Napier.
In 2021 Castle Rock had an estimated net stocked area of 239 hectares. Planted in 1994, harvest is forecast to commence in 2022 and will take approximately 2 1/2 years to complete. The harvested areas will be replanted each Winter.
Castle Peak Forest Partnership was the 54th forest established by Roger Dickie (NZ) Ltd. and is situated 30 km west of Napier between Taihape Road and the Tutaekuri River. Access to the property is gained from Taihape Road via a right of way.
In 2021 Castle Peak had an estimated net stocked area of 290 hectares. Planted in 1996, harvest is forecast to commence in 2024 and will take approximately 3 years to complete. The harvested areas will be replanted each Winter.
Brentwood Forest Partnership was the 36th forest established by Roger Dickie (NZ) Ltd. and is part of the Ruakaturi block located on Ruakituri Valley Road off No.36 State Highway and 75 km South West of Gisborne.
In 2021 Brentwood has an estimated net stocked area of 246 hectares. Planting of Brentwood took place in July of 1994 and it is forecast to commence harvest in 2022 and will take approx 2 1/2 years to complete. The harvested area will will be replanted each winter.
Belmont Forest Partnership was the 20th forest established by Roger Dickie (NZ) Ltd. Belmont Forest is situated on State Highway 2, some 10km west of the borough of Waiora and 109 km north east of Napier city. Access can be gained by State Highway 2 and is bounded in part by Cricklewood Road.
In 2021 Belmont had an estimated net stocked area of 327 hectares. with 97 ha having been planted in 1993 and 230 planted in 1994.
Preparing the forest for harvest is due to commence in 2018 with clearfell harvest to commence in 2021. It will take approximately 3 1/2 years to complete. The harvested areas will be replanted each winter.
Bayview Forest Partnership was the 6th forest established by Roger Dickie NZ and is situated on Seafield Road, 18 km by state highway from Napier in the Hawkes Bay and 12km from Pan Pac mill at Whirinaki. In 2021 Bayview had an estimated net stocked area of 277 hectares.
The Bayview Forest Partnership was founded in March 1992 and planting began in the winter of that year. The forest is currently being prepared for harvest with clearfell forecast to commence 2020. The clearfell harvest will take approximately 2 1/2 years. Harvested areas will be replanted each winter.
Augusta Forest Partnership was the 82nd forest established by Roger Dickie (NZ) Ltd.
Augusta Forest consists of two separate blocks of land. 74 ha is located at Mangamahu, 52 Kms from Wanganui, and was planted in 1994 (due to commence harvest in 2022).
The Hawkes Bay block planted in 2003 is located just 35 Kms from Napier and has a net stocked area of 248 ha. This block will be due to commence harvest in 2029 and will take approximately 2 1/2 years to complete. The harvested areas will be replanted each winter.
Ashdown Forest Partnership was the 33rd forest established by Roger Dickie NZ. and is part of the Ruakaturi block. In 2021 Ashdown had an estimated net stocked area of 224 hectares. Planting of Ashdown took place in July of 1994 and it is forecast to commence harvesting in 2022 and will take approximately 2 1/2 years to complete. The harvested areas will be replanted each winter.
Ashdown Forest is one of nine forests situated at Te Reinga in Northern Hawkes Bay on Ruakituri Valley Road off No.36 State Highway and 75 km South West of Gisborne.
