Long Ridge Forest Partnership

Long Ridge Forest Partnership was the 31st forest established by Roger Dickie NZ. In 2021 Long Ridge had an estimated net stocked area of 330 hectares.

The Long Ridge Forest Partnership was created in May 1994. Planting of 139 hectares took place later that year and a further 190 hectares were planted in the winter of 1996. Harvesting is forecast to commence in 2022 and will take approximately 3 1/2 years. The harvested areas will be replanted each winter.

Long Ridge Forest is one of nine forests situated at Te Reinga in Northern Hawkes Bay on Ruakituri Valley Road off No.36 State Highway and 75 km South West of Gisborne.

Links Forest Partnership

Links Forest Partnership was the 77th forest established by Roger Dickie. In 2021 Links had an estimated net stocked area of 306 hectares.

The Links Forest Partnership was formed in June 2001. Planting took place in the winter of 2001 and the forest is forecast to be harvested in 2029.

The Links property is located 57 kilometres west of Gisborne and 70 km north of Wairoa. Access to the forest is gained from Bushy Knoll Road, 12 km from the junction with State Highway 36.

Kingswood Forest Partnership

Kingswood Forest Partnership was the 43rd forest established by Roger Dickie. In 2021 Kingswood had an estimated net stocked area of 304 hectares.

The Kingswood Forest Partnership was created in January 1995. Planting of Kingswood Forest took place in the winter of 1995. Harvesting is forecast to commence in 2023.

Kingswood Forest is situated on State highway 2 between Napier and Wairoa in Northern Hawkes Bay, approximately 105 km from Napier. The forest is partly bounded and can be accessed by Waihua Valley Road.

Kaheka 2 Forest Partnership

Kaheka 2 Forest Partnership was the 8th forest established by Roger Dickie. In 2003 Kaheka 2 had an estimated net stocked area of 197.9 hectares. Planting of the first rotation took place in the winter of 1992 and harvesting was completed in 2020.

In 2021 Kaheka 2 had an estimated net stocked area of 164 hectares. Planting of the second rotation took place in 2021 and the forest is forecast to be harvested in 2047.

Kaheka 2 Forest is situated at Tutira on Kaheka Road 52km north of Napier in Hawkes Bay.

Kaheka1 Forest Partnership was the 7th forest established by Roger Dickie in April 1992. Planting took place in the winters of 1992 and 1993. Harvesting is forecast to commence in 2019. In 2021 Kaheka 1 had an estimated net stocked area of 190 hectares.

Kaheka 1 Forest is situated at Tutira on Kaheka Road 52km north of Napier in Hawkes Bay.

Irongate Forest Partnership

Irongate Forest Partnership was the 12th forest established by Roger Dickie. In 2021 Irongate had an estimated net stocked area of 331 hectares. Irongate Forest was founded in February 1993 and 313 hectares was planted in the winter of that same year. A further 22 hectares was planted in 1997. Harvesting is forecast to commence in 2021. Irongate Forest is situated on State Highway 2, near Tutira 55 north of Napier in Hawkes Bay.

Hyde Park Forest Partnership

Hyde Park Forest Partnership was the 58th forest established by Roger Dickie. In 2021 Hyde Park had an estimated net stocked area of 250 hectares.

The Hyde Park Forest Partnership was formed in November 1996. Planting took place in the winter of 1996 and the forest is forecast to be harvested in 2024.

Hyde Park forest is located 33km west of Wairoa along Cricklewood Road. Access to the property is from Cricklewood Road.

Huntingwood Forest Partnership

Huntingwood Forest Limited Partnership was established in September 2020 and is the 102nd forest established by Roger Dickie NZ.

Huntingwood forest is a dual property forest investment comprising a near-to-harvest forest with a net stocked area of approximately 228 ha and a to be planted greenfield forest property. Harvest of the near-to-harvest forest is forecast to commence in 2022 and being 228 ha will take approximately 2 1/2 years to complete. The harvested areas will be replanted each winter. Proceeds from the first harvest will be used to replant the forest and purchase and plant a second greenfield property. Both forests will be grown on an optimal framing regime (no pruning and one thin-to-waste) with the second harvest forecast to commence in 2049.

Huntingwood Forest is situated on Tauwhareparae Road, Tolaga Bay, Gisborne, 75km north of Gisborne port.

Hunter Valley Forest Partnership was the 27th forest established by Roger Dickie. In 2021 Hunter Valley had an estimated net stocked area of 205 hectares.

The Hunter Valley Forest Partnership was created in February 1994. Planting took place in the winter of 1994 and the forest is forecast to be harvested in 2022.

Hunter Valley Forest is situated 1 km off State highway 2 on Cricklewood Road and 110 km from Napier.

Highgate Forest Partnership

Highgate Forest Partnership was the 34th forest established by Roger Dickie. In 2021 Highgate had an estimated net stocked area of 340 hectares.

The Highgate Forest Partnership was formed in February 1996. Planting took place in the winter of 1995 and 1996. The forest is forecast to be harvested in 2024.

The Highgate property is 15km north of Wairoa and 8km east of Frasertown. Access to the property is gained from State Highway 38 via Mangapoike and Riuohangi Road.
