Kaheka1 Forest Partnership was the 7th forest established by Roger Dickie in April 1992. Planting took place in the winters of 1992 and 1993. Harvesting is forecast to commence in 2019. In 2021 Kaheka 1 had an estimated net stocked area of 190 hectares.
Kaheka 1 Forest is situated at Tutira on Kaheka Road 52km north of Napier in Hawkes Bay.

There’s some agitation out there at the moment about farming being under threat from forestry. In my opinion, much of what’s circulating is based on
