Waikare Forest Partnership

Waikare Forest was the 1st forest established by Roger Dickie (NZ) Ltd. The first rotation was planted in 1989 and the forest had a net stocked area of 454.9 hectares. Harvesting commenced in February 2015 with the first load of logs leaving the property on Wednesday Feb 18th going to New Plymouth Port for Export. Logs for the domestic market will be going to Taranaki Pine in New Plymouth and other local mills.

In 2021 Waikare had an estimated net stocked area of 466 hectares. Planting of the second rotation took place in 2019 and the forest is forecast to be harvested in 2044.

Waikare is situated 16 km from State Highway 3 at Waitotara.

Turnbridge Forest Partnership

Turnbridge Forest Partnership was the 35th forest established by Roger Dickie NZ. In 2021 Turnbridge had an estimated net stocked area of 238 hectares.

The Turnbridge Forest Partnership was formed in July 1994. Planting of the property took place in the winter of 1994. Harvesting is forecast to commence in 2022 and will take approximately 2 1/2 years to complete. The harvested areas will be replanted each winter.

Turnbridge Forest is one of nine forests situated at Te Reinga in Northern Hawkes Bay on Ruakituri Valley Road off No.36 State Highway and 75 km South West of Gisborne.

Totara Valley Forest Partnership

The Totara Valley Forest Partnership was formed October 1999. Planting of the property took place in the winter of 2000. In 2021 Totara Valley had an estimated net stocked area of 293 hectares. Harvesting is forecast to commence in 2028.

Totara Valley Forest is situated 80 km north of Napier. Access to the forest is gained from Willow Flat Road, 13 km from the junction with State Highway 2 at Kotemaori.

Tangoio Forest Partnership

Tangoio Forest Partnership was the 3rd forest established by Roger Dickie. In 2021 Tangoio had an estimated net stocked area of 561 hectares.

Tangoio Forest was established in 1991. 214.3 ha was planted in 1991 and further plantings took place in 1992 and 1993. Harvesting is forecast to commence in 2019.

Tangoio Forest is situated on Tangoio Road 23km north of Napier.

Stoney River Forest Partnership

Stoney River Forest Partnership was the 16th forest established by Roger Dickie. In 2021 Stoney River had an estimated net stocked area of 224 hectares.

The Stoney River Forest Partnership was founded in March of 1993 and planted later the same year. Harvesting is forecast to commence in 2021.

Stoney River Forest is situated in Northern Hawkes Bay 22 km from Raupunga on Putere Road. The land is part of a farm bought by Roger Dickie. Stoney River Forest is one of the six forest partnerships on this land.

Stone House Forest Partnership

Stone House Forest Partnership was the 55th forest established by Roger Dickie. In 2021 Stone House had an estimated net stocked area of 336 hectares.

The Stone House Forest Partnership was formed June 1996. Planting of the property took place in the winter of 1996. Harvesting is forecast to commence in 2024.

Stone House Forest is situated 30 km west of Napier between Taihape Road and the Tutaekuri River. Access to the property is gained from Taihape Road via a right of way.

Stableford Forest Partnership

Stableford Forest Partnership was the 80th forest established by Roger Dickie. In 2021 Stableford had an estimated net stocked area of 283 hectares.

The Stableford Forest Partnership was formed June 2001. Stableford Forest was planted in the winters of 1996 and 2001. Harvesting is forecast to commence in 2024.

The Stableford property is located 57 kilometres west of Gisborne and 70 km north of Wairoa. Access to the forest is gained from Bushy Knoll Road, 12 km from the junction with State Highway 36.

Sovereign Forest Partnership

Sovereign Forest Partnership was the 48th forest established by Roger Dickie. In 2021 Sovereign had an estimated net stocked area of 293 hectares.

The Sovereign Forest Partnership was formed July 1995. Planting of the property took place in the winter of 1994 and 1996. Harvesting is forecast to commence in 2024.

Sovereign Forest is situated 10 km north of the settlement of Putorino and 5km east of State Highway 2. The forest can be accessed from Haliburton Road.

Sherwood Forest Partnership was the 22nd forest established by Roger Dickie. In 2021 Sherwood had an estimated net stocked area of 265 hectares.

The Sherwood Forest Partnership was founded in 1993 and planting took place in the winter of 1994. Harvesting is forecast to commence in 2022.

Sherwood forest is situated on Raupapa Road near Putere in Northern Hawkes Bay.

Seaview Forest Partnership

Seaview Forest Partnership was established in November 2019 and is the 99th forest established by Roger Dickie NZ.

In 2021 Seaview had an estimated net stocked area of 221 hectares.

Harvesting is forecast to commence in 2048 and will take approximately 2 1/2 years to complete.

Seaview Forest is situated at 1796 Waimarama Road, Hawkes Bay, 42km south of Napier.
