Heywood Forest Partnership

Heywood Forest was the 73rd forest established by Roger Dickie (NZ) Ltd and is situated 35 km West of Gisborne on the Wharekopae Road. Heywood Forest adjoins Chatswood, Eastwood and Woodside forests.

In 2021 Heywood had an estimated net stocked area of 347 hectares. Having been planted in 2000, the main harvest is due to commence in 2028 with a smaller stand of older trees to be harvested when road-lining is undertaken in 2026. Harvest will likely take approximately 3 1/2 years. The harvested areas will be replanted each Winter.

Hereford Forest Partnership

Hereford Forest Partnership was the 34th forest established by Roger Dickie NZ and is part of the Ruakaturi block. In 2021 Hereford had an estimated net stocked area of 180 hectares 

The Hereford Forest Partnership was formed June 1994. Planting of the property took place in the winter of 1994. Harvesting is forecast to commence in 2022 and will take up to 2 years to complete. The harvested areas will be replanted each winter.

Hereford Forest is one of nine forests situated at Te Reinga in Northern Hawkes Bay on Ruakituri Valley Road off No.36 State Highway and 75 km South West of Gisborne.

Haroldene

Haroldene Forest Partnership

Haroldene Forest Partnership was the 10th forest established by Roger Dickie. In 2003 Haroldene had an estimated net stocked area of 230 hectares. Planting of the first rotation took place in the winter of 1992 and harvesting was completed in 2021. 

In 2021 Haroldene had an estimated net stocked area of 199 hectares. Planting of the second rotation took place in 2021 and the forest is forecast to be harvested in 2047.

Haroldene Forest is situated in Tutira 51km on the state highway 2 north of Napier in Hawkes Bay. The forest is bounded in part by Kaheka Road.

Greenwood LP

Greenwood Forest Partnership

Greenwood Forest LP is the 86th forest established by Roger Dickie and was planted in the winter of 2011. In 2021 Greenwood had an estimated net stocked area of 419 hectares. The forest is forecast to be harvested in 2039.

The forest is located on Whatatutu Road near the settlement of Te Karaka, approximately 46kms northwest of Gisborne.

Greens Forest Partnership

Greens Forest Partnership was the 75th forest established by Roger Dickie. In 2021 Greens had an estimated net stocked area of 386 hectares and is part of the Wyangala block.

The Greens Forest Partnership was formed in November 2000. Planting took place in the winter of 2001 and the forest is forecast to be harvested in 2029.

The Greens property is located 56 kms west of Gisborne and 70 km north of Wairoa. Access to the forest is gained through a right of way from Bushy Knoll Road, 12 km from the junction with State Highway 36.

Granity Ltd

Granity Forest Partnership

Granity Forest Limited was the 56th forest established by Roger Dickie (NZ) Ltd.

The forest is located at Sherenden on the Napier Taihape road 34kms west of the city and port of Napier. The forest was planted in 1996 with GF 17 and GF 19 Radiata Pine seedlings and has a net stocked area of 269 hectares. The forest has been managed to a high standard having been pruned to 6.5 meters and thinned.

The forest is owned by Granity Forest Limited. Shares in Granity were issued in units of 5,000 shares with each unit equating to approximately 1 ha of trees. The forest is forecast to be harvested in 2024 and is neighboured by Stonehouse and Castle Peak forests.

Glenview Forest Partnership

Glenview Forest Partnership was the 4th forest established by Roger Dickie. In 2021 Glenview had an estimated net stocked area of 206 hectares and adjoins Saddleback Forest.

The Glenview Forest Partnership was formed in July 1991. Planting took place in the winter of 1991. Harvesting began in October 2019. 

Glenview Forest is situated 31 km by State Highway from Napier on State Highway 2 in Hawkes Bay.

Glenlea Forest Partnership

Glenlea Forest Partnership was the 15th forest established by Roger Dickie. In 2021 Glenlea had an estimated net stocked area of 293 hectares and is part of the Putere block of forests.

The Glenlea forest was founded in May of 1993 and planted later the same year. The forest is forecast to be harvested in 2021.

Glenlea Forest is situated in Northern Hawkes Bay 22 km from Raupunga on Putere Road.

Glen Alvon Forest Partnership

Glen Alvon Forest Partnership was the 49th forest established by Roger Dickie. In 2021 Glen Alvon had an estimated net stocked area of 285 hectares.

The Glen Alvon Forest Partnership was formed in March 1995. Planting took place in the winter of 1995 and 1996. The forest is forecast to be harvested in 2024.

The Glen Alvon property is situated 35 kms southwest of Gisborne near the settlement of Waerenga-o-kuri. Access is gained of State Highway 36 via Rock Hill Road.

Fleetwood Forest Partnership

Fleetwood Forest Partnership was the 61st forest established by Roger Dickie. In 2021 Fleetwood had an estimated net stocked area of 347 hectares.

The Fleetwood Forest Partnership was formed in July 1998. Planting took place in the winter of 1997 and the forest is forecast to be harvested in 2025.

The Fleetwood property is located approximately 37 km south west of Gisborne on State Highway 36. Access to the property is gained directly from the State Highway.
