Monterey Forest Partnership was the 44th forest established by Roger Dickie. In 2021 Monterey had an estimated net stocked area of 214 hectares.
The Monterey Forest Partnership was created in May 1995. Planting took place in winter of 1995. Harvesting is forecast to commence in 2023.
Monterey Forest is located on State Highway 36, 17 km from Gisborne.
